Stock exhaust with aftermarket turbo setup??
Just wanted to know out of curiosity and couldn't find anything with the search. I am wondering if it's possible to use the stock dp and exhaust with a t3 turbo setup? I know it will restrict the flow and won't let the setup make max hp but it's just a question that came to mind and I couldn't find an answer. Thanks.

By using a cut out... no I don't think so by not using a cut out, there is no point as the stock turbo can make more than the 2.25" stock exhaust can handle.

My car moans like a Linda Lovelace gettin plowed by John Holmes in 5 dollar porno on the highway, but i like it! If u just stick with a cat and decent baffle that's not to restrictive I'm sure u could keep it fairly quiet. Stock exhaust with a bigger turbo is like trying to push a bowling ball through a straw.

There are a myriad of options available to make an exhaust quiet at any diameter.
If you wanted to get a bigger turbo, and run a 3" exhaust that was quiet, have the muffler shop weld in some in line mufflers etc.
Anyone that has a loud car because they "have to have a loud car" is straight lying. Of course pieces in the way will restrict flow, but we aren't talking that much. Heck... there was an exhaust dyno that someone did quite a while ago with no cat and with the cat and the car actually made MORE power with the high flow cat on there.

You could always just do a 3" QTP downpipe with a cutout if you want. Then you can run the stock catback for cruising and flip the switch when you want to step on it. I think the price is like $400 for one.

Well I already have a bigger turbo on the car and I put a vibrant 3" tbe on a couple of days ago. It has a little drone but not too bad. I'm thinking about replacing the muffler with something that will be a little quieter though.
