Need help, lost power with mods...

Ok guys I had my car tuned last December, the only mods were a 9 turbo, cone filter, hallman mbc and 255 fuel pump. On a mustang dyno it went from 220hp to 308 max at 27psi. Since then I've installed a 3" downpipe, 3" test pipe, AMS intercooler and pipes. I took it in to get a fresh tune and now he has to run more timing than before to make the same hp, 308. He did a smoke and pressure test and I don't have any leaks. My motor is strong, no turbo issues at all. The car runs good but something is robbing power and it's driving me CRAZY! What could be the problem

Do you have a cat-back exhaust?

December = cold air + little humidity.

Now = warmer, stuffier air.

Also, clean your cone filter.

It could be the combination of those little things. Just my .02.

Same boost during second tune?

Need to know more-- adding timing is a good thing. With the mods you added you moved your power curve to the rt-- How about some power numbers at specific rpm (s) or dyno charts with the run to compare what went where? Peak power really doesnt mean anything--whats under the curve and how it comes on are the real factors. my .02

It's actually really cold here this week. 40's and my filter isn't bad I just had it off when I changed the pipes. My maf was good too...Full exhaust and ic+pipes I should definitely have some more juice. I don't expect tons more but definitely not the same or worse any more ideas?
Same boost. That's when it starts leaning out

I'm waiting to get a call back from the shop. I haven't seen a dyno sheet yet but we were definitely expecting somewhat of a total hp/tq increase across the board. Exhaust I should have more power at lower rpms and the ic should help reduce drop off at higher rpms. I guess I was expecting max hp/tq numbers to go up as well....

Dyno numbers aside, how does the car feel? Unless the test was done back to back, it is hard to see the true results given that so many variables have changed since the first run.

^I haven't driven it yet, he called yesterday and just basically said he had to tune it more aggressively to get the same numbers I had before. That's all I know so far. I'll be going to pick it up shortly

Need to understand what he means by " tuned more agressively"---thinking most would agree that that would usually mean running leaner and with more boost. Adding timing with the rt AFR isnt a problem. Adding timing without knock is fine as well-- once again, could be you picked up 50hp midrange over previous tune and same increase in torque with addition of timing without increasing overall topend numbers. Lets see how it feels when you drive it.

It runs awesome but I wouldn't say it's any quicker than the last tune. I think my turbo's getting tired, it's had a rough life It's not smoking and it spools fine but doesn't seem to spool quite as fast or pull like it used to. Oh well, gives me an excuse to upgrade it soon.

Are you 100% sure there's no boost leaks?

I second the potential boost leaks. Recheck all the clamps of the new IC pipes. The smallest leak can throw off your power a good amount. Also, check your TB seals too if they're still original.
