Ummm so the spline came out if the rotor? You dont have an axle nut on there? I would take your wheel off and check to see if you have the axle nut and cotter pin....

Is it leaking? If the axle isnt seated in the trans it will leak so double check its in there. As far as a wobble Did you get the car aligned after you took the coilover off? Probably didnt set the camber bolt right so alignment is out of whack

Happened to me when I was swapping suspension once. I also lost a lot of fluid from my tcase though. For the passenger side you need to basically ram that ***** in home once you get the spines lined up. There is a c-clip that should lock. The driver's side is more complicated because of the stub shaft.

so what should i do? remove it, spint it, and the reinsert it?
or is it not about rotation? more like making sure its in there deep and settled.

Did you make sure that it was locked in when you put it back? I've seen them pull out before when the knuckle is pulled back out of the coilover. It's not common but it happens. As long as the clip on the end isn't broken and it locks back in, everything should be fine. Also, check your fluid level just to play it safe. Vibration can come from a million different places, so it's not necessarily a direct correlation. (motor mounts, balance shafts, clutch, loose bolts, etc)

i didnt know that it was supposed to "lock back in" since it just came out.
im 99% sure vibration is caused by the coilovers since thats the only thing i changed during installtion

It most likely just popped out because you let your suspension knuckles just drop as you took out the strut. Thats enough force to unlock the axles (which usually takes 2 pry bars at the boot). Especially if they were in and out recently (which seems recent given the paint on your trans). When you put it in again you need to make sure it locks.

Easy way to tell if its not locked is by getting under the car and trying to yank the day lights out of the axle. If it moves ANY amount then its not locked in. But chances are if you didn't know its supposed to lock in then its not.

There's a little clip on the end of the shaft. (looks like a circular ring) Once the axle is pushed onto the transmission shaft, it should "clink" back in. You should not be able to pull it back out with your hands. It normally takes a pry bar with a popping technique to get them out.

its not a locking clip like on honda's and doesnt require much effort to pop out. no popping technique needed. mine popped out the other day, didnt realize it until it was at the shop and they told me.
just push it back in. its more of a seating/retaining clip.
check your seal, make sure nothings wrong with it and its not leaking tcase fluid

as with a lot of other write ups, you only have to pull the axle out. STEP 4

i dont know if the video is good enough to tell whats going on but after the suspension comes off, i can basically tilt the rotor (like adjusting camber) front and back. axle is still in the boot but it seems like its coneected to transmission the entire time. should it even be loose enough to go in and out like this/??? im super confused now
