I just finished installing a new clutch in my evo IV and am getting two errors. The first is the generic service engine light. Checked all the cables and looks like everything is plugged in. The second is an ACD error (all three lights are on at once). Anybody have any ideas what may have been missed/screwed up during the clutch install?

 

Did you bleed the ACD?

 

I had the same issue after doing my ix clutch install. Im curious how to fix it also. I bout some mitsu atf spiii fluid now just ha ve to try bleeding it. Hopefully this is all thats an issue.

clutch work just is not fun! bleeding can also take some time to get it set up properly to your liking

 

bleed the acd fill reservoir with automatic trans fluid then turn key on and press gas pedal with the bleeder on the tcase loose and pump should turn on and start pumping i do it more then once and cycle it through. make sure you keep enough fluid in the reservoir because it takes it fast 2 people works wonders.
