Well, today I bounced of a revlimiter for 2 seconds and released the clutch. ASC was turned fully off. The car launched excelent, all gears went fine, no strange noises, mechenically all felt ok ! But right after I released the clutch, AWC service required light came on and I couldn't select AWC modes (tarmac, snow, gravel). I restarted the car, and all is back to normal - no errors on display. All my previous launches were good and without any AWC errors. I have AFE intake and Invidia CBE. Stock tune. What have caused AWC error to pop up on display ?

Evo X 5MT. 9500kms.

 

The car senses lose of traction. I has done it to me also.. even checked codes. I am assuming it is normal.

 

i had this happen after playing around in the snow a bunch. i guess the evo didnt like the cyclones too much haha. Turned the car off and everything went back to normal. This was more then 6 months ago and everything has been fine since.

 

Overboost? any new mods recently?

I got the same message for overboosting.

 

All mods were installed 2 months ago.
I thought about overboost too. But I DON'T get that AWC error light when I floor it in 5th gear at 2500-3000rpm - perfect condition for overboost.

 

From my own experience it is caused by overboost.
In my case it happens if boost peaks at 2.11-2.13 bar.

 

i get this too, it is super annoying, it's from "overboost" - there is another thread about it somewhere on here
