S-awc

Hi,

Just got myself a GSR (manual). Was playing with the multi info display and found that on the S-AWC page with TARMAC selceted, the display doesnt have any led bars moving and was wondering is this normal? In summary, there is not bar graph and curve graph moving at all when car is accelerating. Anyone care to advise, 10q

The LED's don't always move, You have to make them move ( accellerate like a ****, take a a turn fast, ect)

They don't just move and show you that you driving forward or making a left turn if thats what your thinking.

Even on hard acceration you might get like 2 maybe 3 bars going down.

So if your driving easy you most likely will never see anything. Go to an empty parking lot and just drive around and turn hard and you will see.

Exclamation

You can get the bars to move (up & down) just by revving the engine in netural believe it or not.I just found that out the other day when I was letting it warm up.Try it.

Also go take it out and hit some long 1/2 circle entrance/exit ramps and you will see the L&R bars move.In a straight line. . upon hard acceleration 1st or 2nd gear (WOT) you'll notice them moving as well.(up & down)

It's an interesting gizmo, but if you are yawing and getting torque vectoring from the S-ayc rear diff action, you probably should have your eyes on the road.

Yes, a good point! So why have this display at all?

Later, Ken
