AWC system service required, in WARM weather.
Hi guys.
I started having issues with my AWD system for a little while now. For a few years, during the summer, I'd hear a weird sort of croaking noise but world never get an error message or CEL and had a hard time finding where our was coming from. Eventually, I accidentally set the ACD mode to SNOW and when I braked, it made the sound for a few seconds, but then no more. This was my sure way to reproduce the sound, but then I'd have to wait a good 30-40 minutes for it to happen again. I tried having the pump bled but they didn't fix the problem.
Fast forward to late last summer and finally, on the warmest days, I'd get the AWC system service message on my display. When temperatures got cooler with fall and winter, everything worked fine. Now that things are heating up again, the error messages are back.
Any ideas what this could be? Areas to look at?
Thanks for any help. I'm bringing it in soon but would like to have an idea of what it could be beforehand.

AYC/ACD pump is out, should be covered and under warranty. Since you are in Canada, I am having the same issue. Mitsubishi Canada will give you headache if your car is tuned. Make sure you CAL ID and CVN number are the same as stock then you should be good to go. Finger crossed, I am going in to get it done tmr. And I will get it relocated afterwards
