AMS balance shaft eliminator vs others.

Alright so I looked around a bit but I didn't find an answer to this question. But I have my engine out anyways due to it being blown, but since the new one is being built block up and I wanted to do the balance shaft eliminator kit anyways. question is is the ams approach of machining the stock shaft and keeping the full length better than the stubby shaft method. The shop I'm having build it generally uses their stubby shaft method, but since its my motor I got no problem asking for the ams kit if its that much better. Thanks for the input.

IMO, I prefer the AMS BSD as it comes with every thing to install but if you have access to a lathe you can machine your own.

The pictures are no longer available but it basically showed a picture of the stock shafts compared to the race shaft we offer. So basically this picture below with the race shaft put next to them.
