2003 evo 8 hitting fuel cut?

I recently purchased a 2003 evo 8 that had been in a small front end collision before i bought it. The car has an Invidia turbo manifold, and the intercooler, radiator, and wastegate actuator have all been replaced. Before he crash the car is said to have ran fine but now hat it is together again i seem to be hitting fuel cut under higher load in 2nd gear and up. It is not RPM specific just seems to be occuring under higher load conditions at 19 to 21 psi which is all the higher boost im running. Sometimes it jerks violently and other times it is minimal but it is always noticable might not be fuel cut because there i no boom factor but it feels like a boost cut or something alng those lines. I have already tried new plugs gapping them to .023. Not that it matters but just to add more detail the car has a slow-boy racing stage 2 block. to my understanding everything else is stock. Looking for a little bit of advice if anyone else has had a similar problem. Boost seems to stay steady on the gauge as well

Do a boost leak test.
If the car has been sitting for a while, drain the fuel tank and get some good reputable gas (i.e. Chevron)

Bringing this 6 month old back..I am having a similar issue. 2003 evo 8, stock besides 4" Intake, greddy boost controller, and boost gauge. the car has 95XXX miles on it, and was boosting at 18-19 psi. Now There was no specific incident or accident that could have brought this on, but now I can not push the throttle wide open with out the car bucking in between 10-15psi. I Can slowly accelerate to 7000 rpm, but the second I give it more it bucks and seems to miss fire. I bought some new spark plugs and the stock gap is at .32? thought these need to be gapped to .26-.28? Any adive will be appreciated!

Gap the plugs to .22, then let us know. ESP in winter with cold dense air.

This morning I pulled the plugs, and the gap was over .37? I cleaned them, and put them at .22-.24 and the issue has gone away.

Thanks for the help.
