Magnetic oil drain plug for IX

Was wondering which magnetic drain plug people are using for their evos? Was also reading somewhere that evos with stock oil pressure gauges will not work with this plug. Is there a size difference or is it just that it wont have the sensor tapped into the plug? Thanks.

just stick with the oem drain plug with oem crush washer.

I tried a blox magnetic tip one a while back. I had issues with it leaking. it had a permanent washer on it that didnt work well. the bolt was shorter so its easy to over tighten and strip threads--- which is what happened.

I only went with the blox at first cause previous owner rounded out the drain plug head. I ended up just picking up an oem from mitsu and its been just fine. ymmv

the auto parts store one has a 1/4" longer thread and also includes a hard plastic gasket. i have used these on other cars as well over the years. never had a leak or washer go bad.

Fomoto Valve. No more crushwashers just install and then use the valve to drain.... works like a champ
