The plan is to get an Hks 30th w/downpipe, some sort of intake,
maybe a bov and some tuning. What, with peoples experience is the most reliable everyday driving ecu tuning etc. I already know
that the exhaust and intake will not quite satisfy the power I am
looking for. Not quite ready for a turbo upgrade just yet. I think
the key here is drivability i.e., not worrying about the car stalling
or breaking down.

 

from what i had read...i a dynoflash may be your choice.....personally i have the same things as you are talking about and my top end sucks a big one... I think as far as management i am going to do an HKS Super AFR.

 

Top end is really important to me also. Across the whole powerband would work.

 

I don't think you need to bother with an intake until you mod more. Get a reflash: Xflash from Vishnu, Buscherflash, or Works. Pick a vendor and go with their staged upgrades. Jumping around with lots of different companies is great if you are good under the hood. I went with the Vishnu stage one and am very glad I did. But there are lots of satisfied customers from other vendors.

 

I will definately reflash, which company I don't know yet. I do
know I want to go with the Hks exhaust ting. Just curious to hear
who has reflashed with any company with the similar exhaust I am planning on getting.
