Car Wont Start P0335

Yes, I've searched over these threads:

Here's my situation, car threw a p0335 code two weeks ago, just installed my new motor. Car has never been the best at turning over. I went and bought a new battery and camshaft position sensor. Still didn't work. I bought a new crankshaft position sensor. Once i did so, the car turned over decently. A couple days later, the car needed me to tap on the gas for a start. Today, I attempt to go to work, and no go, car will not turn over.

I plug up my jumper box, and after cranking the car for 10 turns, if finally turns over, but once i removed the jumper box, and backed the car out of the garage, it died. Tried to restart my car and no go.

I am getting fuel pressure(43psi) and spark plugs are good. I am running a spoolin' up spark setup, and the car is tuned.

If you have any idea, give me a call or post in this thread.

Please do not ask me if it's one of the following problems. New items have been purchased and therefore eliminated as culprits.
  1. battery
  2. camshaft sensor
  3. crankshaft sensor
  4. boost leak
  5. terminal connection

Do you have a miniature battery? And has it been relocated if you have a full-size battery?

How long did the car sit? I'm thinking alternator or fuel filter. You'll get good pressure to the rail but will struggle to stay running.

I had starting and idle issues on my car until I discovered this, just a thought though.

Thanks for the replies. I have a relocated large battery so plenty of startup. I just put in a new buschur double pumper so I don't know if corrosion is the case. As for the alternator, I'll have to check it once I can get this car to turn over.
