Balance shaft delete kit

Hey guys I had my balance shaft bearing go bad on my VIII and I have to replace it so I want to just put in the delete kit from ams. How hard is the job? What should I do and what shouldn't I do? How can I do it without removing everything?

Also, will the timing of the delete kit make a difference at all? Or will te shaft go in and sit fine no matter what?

It's a pretty involved job, I did mine with the engine out and it still took some time. The timing on the new shaft can sit anywhere, just have the crank and cam gears in time and you're good to go.

What tips would you give me in doing it? Also what things don't I have to remove to do the job?

You'll need to remove the oil pan, all sprockets and pulleys from the crank, timing belt, balance shaft belt and gears, both bearings for the rear shaft and other things I can't think of ATM. It will be a major PITA with the engine in the car but can be done.

Its def easier to be done with the engine out but like the previous guy said it can be done with it in. I would suggest pulling it out if you have the time and ability, I pulled mine in a day (full 12 hrs) by myself.
