Just look to see if there are any holes on the inside of the compressor housing inlet,you'll have to remove the intake pipe to look inside.Here are some pics i found online,one of a OEM Evo 9 turbo and one of a MAP EF3 with the anti surge housing.

Well I had the exact same issue turns out the turbo was trashed 3 fins were missing and the remaining looked so twisted looks like a tornado hit it.

Ok i will post a picture of both and i will deff check to see if it is the hose and will let you guys know ASAP thanks for all the input and help really appreciate it
