Mines is still like this, only comes on, on hot days. I'm just gonna buy a used one, and it has to come from an evo that doesn't see much snow or a rebuilt one. I guess the salt from the road help cause the pump to fail.

Why buy a used one that will fail again?

^^ditto. I just bought a used one from a member here and still have the 3 lights after it gets hot. Wasted money and not happy about it. Just rebuild the one you have. That way you know what you got. I'll be purchasing a rebuild kit soon.

lan_evo_mr9, do you guys see many solenoid failures? That is the only part I didnt get with my used one. It clicks when applying voltage to it. Thats how I finally got it to bleed at full pressure (voltage to the solenoid and pump).

your pump is gone... have it rebuilt..
salt from the road causes the pump to corrode... Have it rebuilt and sealed propperly..

Would you recommend doing it yourself or shipping it to them?

as the author of the vid, I'd suggest sending the pump in for servicing.. It can be a pain to disassemble.... If you only plan to do it once... save your time and have it done..

I'm going to be removing my pump this wkd. Is there any how-to, to make it easier for me? Or can someone give me a quick run down on how to remove it.
