Stock radiator fan control + manual switch?
can it be done?
i havent been able to find much info. i daily drive as well as track my car. with the random high heat and humidity we've been having lately i got to thinking that i would like to have a back up to the stock fan control. i will be adding an oil cooler fan, and wouldnt mind having a higher cfm slim fan on the radiator also...all running on a single "fans" switch.
i have already tweaked my fan control maps, so i dont foresee an actual overheating issue, but i like to be over prepared, as well as the fact that it wouldnt hurt to be able to run the fans manually for cool down purposes after a session.
any info would be appreciated.

been 85 degrees and 90% humidity for days now. like i said, the car has not gotten hot yet, but id still like to be able to run the fans to move air through the engine bay between sessions.
Unplug your a/c compressor before a track day and turn the a/c on and off to activate your fan ( your a/c must function normally in order for this to work). Unless you really feel like wiring in your own circuit.
EDIT: Nevermind, I don't think this will work if the car is off with ignition on.

are you running the stock fan, or a slim with the stock control + switch?
