Dipstick blow out

Ive been having dipstick blow out on my Evo and I don't know why. I have eliminated my pcv valve and im running a ventilated catch can. I have the manifold line plugged and running both lines on the valve cover to the catch can. Any boost over 30 psi is when I get the dipstick blown out. Current mods are:2.3 stroker, fp black, kelford 272's, all supporting mods on e85 (road tuned up to 30 psi till I get my double pumper in). Any thoughts on what I may need to do or whats going on?

Higher crankcase pressure due to built motor... put a spring on the dipstick to keep it down, you can get one in the help section at any autoparts store...

Cant you run a line from the back of the block as well to help bring the pressure down

I planned on just throwing a spring on the dipstick but I had the same issue on my stock motor at or above 30psi. I did not have a vented catch can though. So now im just wondering why Im having the same issue with catch can.

I would start looking at a more serious crankcase vent setup. On my build, I was forced to run huge ring gaps which caused a ton of pressure so I'm venting the valve cover and block. Running larger ports off the valve cover and venting the dipstick tube would be a big help.

Also, if you're not using the port on the intake to pull vacuum, I would do that 1st as that will use the turbo to suck the pressure out of the system.

Im gonna go ahead and try that. I just purchased a vented dipstick off another member on here so I will vent the dipstick as well as throw a spring on there.

Thanks everyone

Did you install the vented catch can on the IM side or on the turbo inlet side? Why did you eliminate the PCV? Is this a race-only or a street engine?

I think Buschur Racing sells a spring kit for the dipstick. Ask David. He can certainly help you out.
