Just got this code yesterday and it came out of nowhere. I searched and there's suggestions on the EGR, Periphery Configuration, and such. None of those apply to me though. My EGR has been out for 3 years now and this code has never came up once. Just wondering if anyone else has any suggestions. Thanks. By the way P0443 is Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit.

 

Check the hoses on the EGR valve. I bet one popped off feel around by the throttle body under it see if hoses are connected.

 

How many hose caps and hoses should be there? I have the 2 ports on top of the throttle body capped off. I didn't personally remove my EGR stuff so I don't really know everything that was removed, I have a good idea though. I'm 90% sure my EVAP solenoid is removed because theres a random connector by the FPR thats not connected to anything. I did replace 2 rubber caps that were worn out and in bad shape. But this dumb code still appears. When I clear the code, turn the car off, then turn the car on the code comes back.

 

if its capped off most likely its blocked off. Take a pic... also you should be able to feel if the EGR valve is there

 

Yeah I know the EGR is out, it's blocked off by a STM plate. And the Purge Solenoid is definitely out too. I went back through EcuFlash just to check the Periphery2 table just to make sure the correct value is in place and that's good. I'm still hoping it's just an invisible hose disconnected though.
