I have a USDM Evo 8 260 ECU running a UKDM Evo 8 engine in my Evo 4. Since this engine didn't come with an EGR system I am getting codes P0403 and P0443, EGR Circuit & EVAP Purge Valve Circuit. I have a 96530706 ROM with TephraMod v7.

I have tried disabling the EGR system by changing FAA bit 11 from 0 to 1 and disabling the engine codes by changing FCA bit 15 from 1 to 0, separately and together. I am still getting the code, any tips?

try disable fca bit9

 

I had not modified that periphery previously, but found that it was already disabled at 0.

 

Turn all of FCA off, most of the periphery is unneeded junk. You can leave the very last bit on, the one that isnt labelled or says unknown.

 

I forgot that only some engine lights go away on their own. I needed to clear it.
