Can a 7 8 9 Throttle Body use on Evo 5?
just to confirm, if i change to a 7 8 9 T/B which comes with the Iscv & Tps, can it be Plug & Play onto my Evo 5 with the connector ready?
The reason i wanted to change my T/B is bcos i suspect that my Iscv is not in good condition as im having problem with inconsistent idling & stalling problem especially when AC is on when on my stock Evo 6 ecu.
But if im on my Pfc ecu, no inconsistent idle nor stalling problem with AC on or off.

P.S - Can i just buy a used 7 8 9 T/B and use its Iscv onto my Evo 5 T/B?

you cant use ISC from 4-6 on 7-9 TB. or visa versa. (TPS does not interchange as well, different footprints)
and I have read from creator of ECMtuning that the later 7-9 ISC has more steps in the motor action. so when using late ISC on early car ecu thier will be high idle problems from extra steps in the software.

no, you will need pigtails from 7-9 for both tps and isc
and I have read from creator of ECMtuning that the later 7-9 ISC has more steps in the motor action. so when using late ISC on early car ecu thier will be high idle problems from extra steps in the software.

no, you will need pigtails from 7-9 for both tps and isc
tps plugs as well as iscv plug interchanges fine. i put an evo 8 mr tb on an evo 4 engine just 2 days ago and everything plugged in and functioned. just take out the little plastic thing out of the evo 4's plug with a flatbit and your golden
the evo 4 and 5 are basicly the same setup.
evo 8 tb was "usdm" and evo 4 was "jdm"

Sorry for opening such an old thread. I am facing a similar issue where i am unable to find a 4 pin TPS for evo 4 , instead all i have is a 3 pins connector (for an evo 7 or 8). Can you please point me in the direction as to how a 3 pin TPS is wired into a 4 pin wiring.
