So Al says his flash is good for up to 450whp... are we going to see a pump gas Buschur Flash on the BR475 turbo?

He was running the baseline map with minimal tuning (increased boost from 19 to 21, etc.) What I'm getting at is that this option seems to make more power (for less $) that just doing the Stage 4.

Can I go larger turbo with a Buschur/Dyno Flash alone. Is a stand alone required/recommended?

OK I've got some questions:

Will bolt right up to a 3 inch DP such as B&B or is modification required like the HKS kit?

Will a HKS suction kit or cusco induction arm (MAF) pipe work with this turbo?

Thanks for any responses and I can't wait to get this kit

i dont understand how a different turbo boosting the same as stock can make more power???? Can someone explain??? and will this fit with my typhoon and BR turbo back 3" ??

The turbo is just sized to be more efficient at a given boost. More efficiency means less heat, denser charge and more power all at the same pressure.

dont forget about CFM....a turbo can flow more air at the same psi.

Question David,

We know your turbo is not water cooled. We also know that it has been established that a stock Evo runs very high oil temps. For those of us who are hell-bent on a water cooled turbo for our daily driver, will/can you special order a water cooled center section for us in the BR475? I'd pay (when I can) an extra $500 for a water jacket long before I would pay extra for a ball bearing section (not that BB is needed on the BR475). If not, could you suggest a route to go as I'm unbending on this subject (I'm sure there will be others with all the talk about oil/oil temps lately).

my question is how is 400whp that much of a gain when its based on a 2wd dyno. In other words that may translate into 375-385 whp on a dynojet awd dyno, that's not impressive at all considering the $2500 investment to get aproximately 25 extra hp. I know Evos that make 365-370 whp on racegas with stock turbo on a dynojet awd dyno. I hope that the bigger turbo is putting down better whp.
