All the way maxed out? What is it reading on the boost gauge? If it is only on maxed out and not past maxed out its not maxed out yet...

Mine goes to "super Max" on my turbo gauge.

Megan o2 surelly helped me, better throttle response and spoolup no doubt.
If I had to it all over I would have done an Invidia

yes invidia makes a 3" o2 i believe the megan is 2.5" and also prone to turbo surge...

from what I have seen both of those o2 housings neck down to 2.5" at the downpipe connection. As far as I know the whole true 3" o2 housing downpipe is MAP's o2 eliminator.

As far as the megan o2 hosing helping... lets just say if your on the stock housing your turbo isn't maxed out.

I saw pretty good gains going from my stocker to a megan. I did some mild port work to it around, well, everywhere lol. enlarged the merge hole a little, also made the main part where it bolts to the dp as large as possible without sacraficing strength. Its well worth the $ and 3 hours to install. Just do yourself a favor, take the radiator out lol. It helps a TON!

im surprised you havent already upgraded your o2! and like akeric said, the map
3" o2 eliminator downpipe will make the most gains fo your setup

Silly question, but would installing a Megan O2 housing require any retuning? It seems like that is one of the few parts that could be installed and wouldn't need any retuning.

FYI.. I think I'm going to have a Megan O2 housing for sale here shortly.

Correct me if I am wrong but David Buschur chimed in on one of these O2 housing threads and mentioned that invidia didnt do particularly well vs other housings.

Really depends on your setup. Im running ~32 psi with hks 272 cams, stock 8.5 turbo, and e85 (+supporting mods) and I leaned out almost a half a point just with the megan o2 housing vs the stocker. Also took a little more timing but that is really up to you. If you want to see the most, a retune is a good idea IMO
