Thanks guys, I understand now. It’s affectively a remap of the standard ECU right? I thought it to be so, but needed confirmation. We do a similar thing in the UK but most switch to standalones after a while as they are generally better than the standard unit. Thanks again for the help and I told you it was a stupid question!

 

Correct. It's an ecu remap. Most people will eventually end up with stand alone set-ups here too...if they continue down the modding path.
