Depends on how "baller" you wanna be. With 1k you could get a ebay turbo back exhaust, fuel pump, possibly an intake and a tune, depending on the price of the tunes in your area. Or one nice brand turbo back exhaust .. tune is important. Makes all the difference.

Turbo back exhaust, lower intercooler pipe, and a tune. Best bang for the buck.

^^^^ this for sure, look at the megan racing TBE, not near as expensive as other brands, and very well made, and not very loud either, check out the agp lower intercooler pipe as well, once again well made, but alot cheaper, and tscompusa does great remote tuning for a really really good price

Megan Racing TBE $250 plus shipping = $300
MBC $100
intake filter $60
BOV $150-250
Tune (Varies)
Labor (if you choose)

Real rough budget

It depends on your long term goals, I don't recommend getting a cheap Ebay exhaust.

Hallman boost controller
Megan downpipe
Cat back such as Buschur
Vibrant filter
MR bov
Walbro 255
Tune.

If you can't afford that with a tune, I'd save the money until you can do all this at once. I was very happy with these as my first "mods"

Although I would rather see Evo enthusiasts buy premium parts, the eBay exhausts really do work well for the money.

On $1,000, I would get:

1. Used 255lph fuel pump
2. Grim Speed ECB
3. Used O2 dump or EBay O2 housing
4. Megan turbo back exhaust
5. Used lower inter cooler pipe
6. Map switching tune with pump and E85

Save it for the Honda's, buy the best or don't buy at all. Why take a great factory car and replace those awesome parts for cheap aftermarket junk. Those "SRS" exhausts are garbage and rot from the inside out quick. I had one on my Ralliart and it lasted about a year.
