Looking for an Evo V ECU

Hi everyone. New member here and just wanted to stop by and ask how likely it would be to find an Evo V ECU from anyone on this site, or to ask if anyone knows where one might look to find one?

I have a '96 Evo IV and want to start tuning, and from what I understand my best bet is to replace the ECU with that of the V's.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The best choice for you is an Evo 8 ecu USDM like me!

So the Evo 8 ECU is straight up plug and play in terms of compatibility with the Evo 4? Where did you purchase yours or which website did you use to find it?

I had a Evo 5 Ecu for you

The Evo 8 Ecu, doesnt plug&play, some pins are modified to connect with your car.

I had a Evo5 ecu from a 98 GSR and sold it to a buddy in Colorado a few months ago. He's no longer using it and I can ask him if he's wililng to sell it to you, if you're interested.

He also has an Evo4 and wanted to start tuning.

Let me know.
