I foun a thread here about my title, but I´m not sure about it.

I want to know if the Evo 4 main bearing set is the same to the Evo 3.

I ask this because, last year when I rebuild my engine I use a set of Evo 8 main bearing and center main bearing are different in the evo 8 (pic attached).

I have seen insides of four evo 4 blocks. they have the single center main bearing with thrust attached.

 

Yes, every IV I have come across has used the 1 piece centre bearing that the Evo 1-3 and most 2G DSMs use.

 

So, I need to buy that piece separate or in an Evo 3 kit main bearing.?

 

you can buy seperate or in a dsm/evo 1-3 bearing kit, it's called integrated thrust washer.

Btw, if I buy the dsm 1g or 2g (I dont know) that complete main bearing kit fit in my evo 4?

 

DSM 2G is the same.
