i was driving perfectly fine cruisin in 5th gear (6spd) and about 4k rpms it just missed and bogged down. i put it in neutral pulled over and couldnt go over 5mph. It idles fine and doesnt wanna stall . i dont know whats wrong any ideas?

I changed the plugs and coils.. below is a video of the noise it makes kinda hard to hear but it bogs from 1.5k rpms then jumps up to 3k rpms really rough.

Do you have a wideband? What do the AFR's look like when it starts missing? Does it go lean?

 

Hook up evo scan and see what its doing....at least that’s what i would try for a next step. If you replaced the coil packs and the plugs, something else is telling it to misfire like that.

Yep, IC hosed, had a buddy work with me on getting my new IX sorted and he forgot the recirc valve hose clamp.... stuck on a 2 lane farm road ftl - hopefully its not more than that

 

IC pipe... check your TB or the lower pipe... or your MAF just failed...

 

i checked all the pipes they are all tightened

 

Did you fill it diesel fuel?
