Torque Solutions Short Shifter impressions???

Anyone running the Torque Solutions shifter kit?

Feedback? Impressions? Ease of install?

Would you buy it again?

I'd do the under good bushings again. I didn't notice any shorter throw or enough to warrant the buck fifteen for it. I also hate when shifters are lower than stock.. But I raised my shifter base up 3" to make it more comfortable.

I have it. Kind of a waste, if it was 50 bucks then ya. It made the shifting more stiff. Since it's shorter, height not throw. I wouldn't do it again. I do like the underhood bushing tho

I was under the impression it was both shorter in height AND made for shorter-throws????

Technically speaking that would make it shorter throw. I noticed almost no change in throw only like an inch height wise difference. Which as far as motion ratio gOes isn't worth much. So yes it may be technically a reduction. The bushings though, is where it's at.

Cool, thanks for the clarification.

Maybe I'll just buy the underhood bushings and shifter base bushings.

I just put mine in the other day. You do notice quite a difference in throw, but it's actually very comfortable with a hardbar style shift knob over a ball. I also have the base bushings installed. I'm happy with it for the $100. Also install took about 45 mins.

Interesting - so you did notice a difference in throw? I will still be using my ball-style shift knob.

yeah you can notice a difference. will it make a difference in a race? idk. but you can notice it. i didn't like the feel with the ball, i think that's mostly because my trans is kinda shot but again I haven't felt another to tell you the difference.
