Apexi N1 Exhaust?

Does anyone have this on their evos? I just bought the muffler from my friend for 100 dollars. He said I would have to get it welded onto my stock exhaust. How will things turn out?

i'd actually do a custom piping with the muffler u have. try a 3inch mandrel bent piping to that n1.

apexi should be making an exhaust soon, they have it for evo 7's only right now.

its not hard at all. hopefully the muffler shop u goto is good. there would just need to be adjustment of the hangers. u'll probably gain alittle because its a more straight through muffler.

i don't know how much louder it is, but most n1's are loud. they do have a silencer for it though.

I wouldn't get it welded to the stock exhaust...I'd get custom 3" piping

You wouldn't gain much by having it welded on to the stock exhaust unless you just want to change the sound. Don't pinch a penny. I would just opt for custom 2.75" or 3" piping. It's not as much as you might think. Plus it'll give you good HP gains. Just make sure the shop mandrel bends and doesn't just crush bend the pipe.
