Are Evo 8 & Evo IX Crankshafts the same?

Hey I cant bolt up my flywheel to my crank due to the crank only being able to 6 out of 7 flywheel bolts.

I found a couple on Ebay but they list them as 03-05 Evo VIII/8. Will the Evo 8 crank fit on an Evo IX/9? Are they the same exact OEM piece. I have an Evo IX

According to AWD motorsports they should be the same for the 8 and 9. Thread just a tad of each bolt ad see if you can get them all in.

Did you rotate it all around? Ther is only 1 combo that works persay, all others will leave 1-2 bolts offset.

One of the flywheel bolts was completely ripped out. All the thread is off the hole in the crank. I tried to re-thread it but just wont work. The crank is also warped, its not flat anymore.
