Anyone using a low temp thermostat?

I'm going to a 1/2 radiator. I was considering doing a low-temp tstat, but I guess the best thing to do is log coolant temps before/after the 1/2 radiator and see if I need more cooling. Just curious if anyone has any results from changing to one.

lower temp thermostats dont cool the engine any better. it would if your half radiator was able to keep temps to 165. but even full size radiators cant do that in most conditions.

How cool do you want? The stocker opens at 176.

Stay with the stock one. A low temp stat causes the car to cycle between open loop and closed loop, and wastes gas.
