Hey guys real quick question. Im running a twinscroll 40r right now n thinking of dropping down to a 35r or a 6262. My question is can i use my current 1.06 exhaust housing for either? Id like to keep it because i have a cutom made quick spool valve in it. Thanks for any info in still learning

 

nope, different size turbine wheels. and the twinscroll turbine housings on the 35r sized turbos are a nightmare, call forced performance and ask them about them.

what turbine housing? from what i gather (many sources) the 35r housings with the exception of the 1.00 garrett all are p trim housings machined for the 35r wheel. the chra sinks deep into the turbine and barely has room for the coolant lines.

 

Isnt the 1.06 a/r the turbine housing? Because there is turbine housing and compressor housing
