Quick question about 4G64 timing question

I no with the stock gears you have to set it back a half a tooth on both cam gears.

The timing mark on the valve cover, "looking at it dead on" The right side "The way the timing belt spins." is advanced or retarded?

With an adjustable cam gear-
Turning the ring of the gear clockwise would retard, and counter clockwise advance timing.

k thanks you answered my question 100%

so IF you have STOCK CAM GEARS. Retarding the car "The white mark on the stock cam gear." would be 1/2 to the LEFT of the valve cover timing marks?

Yes. Retarded is left and Advanced is right.

Retarding the timing would be moving the cam "to the left". If you think about it, in a clockwise revolution, the crankshaft is going to "beat" the camshaft to the TDC mark.
