Not to take it too off topic but installing an intake with a modded air box is still on my list. I have my hacked air box sitting in the garage. I'll probably be hacking it up even more and making some OEM looking brackets to get it to keep from flopping around. Aftermarket in California is the devil!

I know I was planning on doing this in 2010, but a baby and time make things difficult at times.

 

Yeah I plan on making an aluminum enclosure for mine...going to reconnect the air snorkel directly to the box

I hear all the time about California and how the cops are trained to know enough about aftermarket parts on cars.
