Ok someone is selling a 2.4L bare block locally for a good price and I want it but he's saying it won't fit my Evo. Is this true? I was under the impression majority of the 2.4L blocks come from mid 90's Eclipses?

If your Evo is an Evo 8 you can use a 2.4 block from a 99-03 galant,2000-2004 eclipse 4cyl and 2003 outlander,no block earlier than that will work since the engine was on the left side of the car not on the right like Evos.
