Evo VII - Pulling Left

Had an issue with my JDM VII for a while now and wanted to see if anyone else had encountered a similar issue.

When on boost the car pulls right and off boost the car pulls left. The steering wheel literally 'snaps' left when the throttle is lifted.

Also the front of the car feels 'floaty'. When the throttle is floored the steering wheel jumps left and right, almost like there is no contact with the road surface.

It has been suggested that the front diff (ACD) may be at fault.

Has anyone experienced this kind of issue caused by the front diff? (or any other cause??)

No, just a theory here. Toe is set to zero because, on acceleration, the front will toe in a little and, on deceleration, the front will toe out a little. The rubber bushings will allow some movement. A loose part will cause more of this and maybe what you are describing.

Thanks for the reply Barneyh but I've had the toe, camber and caster corrected (I've done it myself with a full laser system) and all are equal and within tolerance

Thanks slowonder. I have completely polybushed the rear and have checked the ball joints.

I will be investigating the drive shafts and output shafts today....

Only other thing I can think of, possible engine or trans mount bad/shifting. Causing the "torque steer" affect. Just a possibility. Good luck bro.

thanks LegacyDestroyer.

I will replace the mounts in the near future as a matter of course. I did have a bad motion from the rear (not like this issue) before I polybushed, so maybe mounts are contributing
