Question about 2.3l timing

Anyone ever do timing on a 2.3l? I'm wondering what the degree marks get set to on the adjustable cam gears ?

Set the marks at zero, unless you are properly degreeing your cams.

What Block are you using?
If 4G64 Block w/ 4G63 Head then Set both gears @ -4Degree's (RETARDED 4DEG on Both IN/EX) & that should be TDC. My understanding Block deck height is 6mm Taller.
If using a 2.0 Block then TDC has not changed (0 DEG on Both IN/EX) unless you degree your cams w/ proper tools.

- Hope this helps

If using stock gears and your cams don't require much degree work, use the stock time marks.
