Well golden rule with turbos is use the smallest turbo for your powergoal so according to that you would use the 6262 but because the 6466 spools very close to it you could choose the bigger tubo and have more room to grow.
FWIW my 6466 somehow outspooled my 6266, not by much, maybe ~50rpm, that may not be the case on everyone's set up, mine at the time was pretty conservative with mild cams, no headwork and 9.0:1 compression.
It depends on if you want to competitively drag it or not, if thats the case, i'd go with the 6266 so you'd be able to run with the smaller turbo guys, I ran the 6466 at MAP's proving grounds and it kind of sucks being in the big dogs class with a lot of the shop cars and having the disadvantage of the smaller turbo when some are running 42r's, etc.
BUT if you're mainly building a Highway car with no intentions of competitively drag racing, go with the 6466.

let me know your setup, is that car for daily use too?
Car ran a 10.3@144 on my street tires and weighs 3210 with me in it and half a cage
I do drive it at least a couple times a week in summer, the clutch I was using was the only reason I wouldn't

If its a "highway" car, he might as well just put a 6768 on the car. The added size of the turbine wheel will definitely allow the car to make a good deal more topend power.
I street the 6466 and I like it, just not a ton of places besides the highway were u can really string it out. My car is at the power level/setup where it's not easy to just get on it a little in town without some surrounding people knowing a car is in the vicinity and making a pull lol.

I made 709whp on a Mustang Dyno with a fairly mild set up (stock intake manifold/throttle body, no porting)

If you are looking to 1/4 race it alot I would suggest the 6466. Its making similar power to the 6766 with quicker spool.
