Why do I have so much clutch chatter?

So I replaced my pressure plate, clutch disc and flywheel about 200 miles ago. I've been noticing I have a lot of chatter while in neutral. All the chatter goes away when the clutch is pressed. Also it chatters and the car vibrates while getting into first gear. Why does it chatter? By the way it's an Act street clutch kit and a act street lite flywheel.

I am not sure which clutch kit you purchased, but what you are most likely experiencing is increased gear noise. Although annoying, it is not known to be harmful. The torsional vibrations of the engine (especially a four cylinder turbo engine) will cause the backlash in the transmission gears to rattle. The lighter flywheel and stiffer damping springs of the clutch disc (assuming you have a spring center) will not damp out as much torsional vibration as the stock parts. If you happen to be running a solid center disc, the condition would be expected to be much worse.

I am running the exact setup I had before. Act Heavy duty pressure plate with Street clutch and an Act street lite flywheel. Never had this much chatter before I replaced to new.
