took the cam caps off last night to see if there were binding in the valvetrain. still wont turn or budge. exhaust cam does have more "play" then the intake cam which has none.

im going to pul the trans today and hope its something stupid. i really cant deal with putting another motor in this car.

 

You could manually activate the tob to release and try turning the engine... Use a ply bar and push in the same direction the slave cylinder does... Ps if the cams dont turn then its in the motor unless you left the timing belt on... In which case you basically didnt do anything...
