I would say it requires 5x more strength to move the shifter towards the right to get into either 5th or reverse than to go left for 1st or 2nd. And even harder to actually shift into 5th or reverse. And again a nice loud squeak happens when moving shifter to the right. It have a feeling it may be the gear selector, because i can make the squeak happen when i push the gear selector by hand towards 5th and reverse,.
