I just installed DW200 fuel pump in my EVO 8, and have one quick question.

I sent an email to DW tech support, so they will get back to me, but it is weekends, so I hope someone here can tell me whether mine is defective or same as other units.

As the pictures attached, there is a brass pin inside the pump outlet, and it is moving freely and even it sticks out if I hold the pump upside down.

EVO 9 stock unit is not like this, the pin is fixed deep inside.

Is this normal? Since fuel pressure is high, I hope nothing is loose and shoot out any part.

Got the answer from DW, and it is the internal check valve, and what I described here seems normal.
