Lifter tap or Rod knock??? (Video inside)

Hey guys, I was running the car the other day and noticed the oil low and I started hearing a tapping noise while driving... Parked the car and changed the oil (10w30) this is what happens when the oil is fully warmed up. If I drive the car as soon as the coolant is warm, you don't hear anything. When warm... Check out the video. ...you don't hear it under boost of course.

Cool. I'm looking at getting some topline lifters and replacing them soon. This started happening after a 272 cam install and 5000 mile oil (e85) shame on me!

Pop the valve cover off and put some tension on each rocker arm and see which one has some play in it, that will tell you which lifter may be collapsed. deffinatley not a bearing

What are the ambient air temps where you live? If the lifters were not properly bled when you did a cam change, then you have a ruptured lifter. I have live with a ruptured lifter for years. FWIW, I have found that running Mobil1 0W-40 motor oil eliminates the ticking sound on my motor though.
