Injectos or Fuel Pump or Both for 350whp

I should be banned for being on here so long and not knowing the answer (BTW I did search and could not find a specific on my whp goal)

I am looking to stay around 350 whp with 91 octane here. My limited mods are rre exhaust, ets licp, aem intake, tanabe dp, and (once getting tuned) a gm 3 port

This is on a 9.... I would assume from previous posts that a fuel pump is cheap insurance but not necessary, but what about injectors...they would be around 360 $ plus, having to get tuned for those. If I can SAFELY avoid injectors I would like to. I just prefer OEM reliability instead of going all out..

You can (just barely) reach that with a fuel pump and stock injectors.

I would only do injectors if planning on running e85 or going to a bigger turbo.

You are one of the rare members since you have no plans of ever having more power

ive got the set up you need will sell the injectors and pump for 200, i have a walbro 255 and some precision 770 cc injectors that will hold you through 440 whp roughly.

You may not necessarily need that much injector or even pump for that matter, but its safe insurance for your needs and if you do decide to grow.

If your fuel pump is still stock then go ahead & upgrade it to a Walbro 255 anyway. 8's are 10 years old now & you don't wanna wait until the current pump fail. Whether to upgrade injectors or not depends on the planned boost level, but injectors upgrade is generally a good thing.
Since you're stuck with 91 (Cali fuel) I would highly recommend you install a water/meth injection kit & 350whp would be easily attainable with 91 & stock turbo.

Less is more for me and despite the "you will want more later on" I know I would be happy with about 350whp, heck I'm happy now. I drive a manual 06 scion xb so that should explain some.

Water/meth I would like to avoid. Nothing wrong with it just that there is more to go wrong

In regards to fuel pump I can't stand the whine of the walbro. I know many say they don't have it but I have seen and heard others that do

Any fuel pumps other than walbro to suggest? also i think I would like to go with rc 1000 IF i have to go that route

The DW 301 fuel pump is known to be very quiet, pretty much the only reason I went with it over the Walbro 255

I had about the same results back in the day but this was on 93oct. 91oct will be hard to work with.

The walbro does whine, if you happen to do any track days it screams when it gets hot after a 20 minute session. I have heard the DW and Aeromotive pumps are quieter. Right now I have a set of FIC 950's waiting to go in and soon an Aeromotive Stealth (340lph) pump to go E-85.

My stance on it is have more pump and injector than you need. Right now as my car sits, with my minimal mods, I am @ 93% idc up top on pump.
