The answer is, 540WHP on a mustang properly calibrated will be approx 8-12% variance from a dynojet. so 540 is at max 604WHP dynojet.
1450cc inj are good for WAY more then that, so the tuner is clueless to say such a thing, and the fuel pump or something in the fuel system in general is bottlenecked / not working properly.
Tom I have a friend with 1450cc FIC's in his car making 540awhp on a mustang dyno with the idc's over 110% running E85 and the tuner says his injectors are maxed out and he needs to go bigger.
This doesn't sit right with me, I think his fuel system is done wrong and he is out of pump. He has one walbro 400lph in tank and a bosch 044 inline by the tank, uses all oem fuel line till it gets to the bosch 044, then goes to -6 from there to the rail.
I told him I want to redo the fuel system like mine and run a double pumper with wally 450's and -8 to the rail with a -6 return and those FIC 1450 injectors should get him over 600 mustang dyno easy.
What do you think?

Thanks, that's exactly what I was thinking. I'll get to redoing his fuel system right away.
Thanks!
OK so I am thinking of upgrading my turbo soon and am looking for some tips on fuel system.
Planned setup:
750cc injectors (currently in car)
Single 255 (currently in car)
Kelford 272 (currently in car)
Ecu boost (to be added)
FP green hta 73 (to be added)
With this on pump 91 will I be able to supply enough fuel to have the 91 be the limiting factor or will it be the 750s?

Looking at 400 on 92 pump stock turbo. 2006 evo 9 What size injectors do u recommend. Also thinking of upgrading turbo later for 500 whp 400 tq and don't want to buy another set later on.
Off the top of my head in vd dynojet:
2.0L = 700whp
2.4L = 620whp

If you have the $ id probably go up to a 1000cc or so just to give yourself some security.
PM me for pricing.

Context*** I have an evo 8 that was setup for a 6766 but I put it on a Evo 9 turbo for a temporary setup
•full radium fuel system
aem rail
aero motive FPR
has two 450s in hangar but only running 1
gscs2 cams
2.3L stroker
I have an evo 9 turbo rn because this is my first Evo and I just wanted to experience it at its “ starting “ form and then build up from there leaning towards what I feel the car lacks or what I want from it . I need new injectors but I don’t want to buy something just for the 9 turbo I would want something that can also handle a FP red or so turbo . Not sure if I’m gonna be pure e 85 maybe but forsure want to be able to run it
not sure if thread is still active but
