how rich is the stock tune on a evo 8?

if you were to just slap on a wideband without touching the factory tune, how rich would it be once you hit boost? looking for knowledgeable answers thank you.

My experience is similar to the poster above. My 2003 dipped to ~9.8 or so at 6800 rpm and up on the stock tune, and no boost leaks. I measured with an Innovate LM2.

Stock tune runs very rich. It helps keep the cat happy, as well as keep the motor together with the crazy amount of timing on the stock map.

If it's a factory stock tune evo they all run pig rich and crazy timing down low people run 87 octane in them and put the wrong plugs and floor it all the time and they don't blow up. I think it's safe to floor it lol.

Yeah dude, the factory tune is fine, not best, but fine. They are responsible for durability and warranty of the vehicle, it would not be in their best interest to give you an 'unsafe' tune.
