Water in intercooler piping

The past couple of days I have realized that when under boost my car feels very hesitant. It almost feels as if it is misfiring.

Today I pulled the upper intercooler pipe off to inspect for a tear or leak as I thought that it may have been a boost leak. Upon inspection it seems as if water is getting into the upper piping. This makes sense as that would greatly lower the effective octane rating and cause the car to pull timing dramatically.

I wasn't able to completely take the bumper off to adjust the lower hoses but they appeared to be in tact and still tight and on the beads.

The car has a perrin intake, perrin uicp, and an ets v2 licp. Has anyone else had this type f issue? I've attached some pics for reference.

Not for sure as to how much water is getting in there. This is the cold side as well so no oil. It's enough to cause drivesbikity issues under boost though.
I wish this under tray wasn't such a pain in the **** or I'd take the bumper off.

OP is claiming intake water is causing timing to be pulled. People spray water to cool the charge and avoid knock. So, I suggest his conclusion is misguided.

Haha almost 3 years ago. A large amount of water would mess stuff up. I can't remember what I did to fix it. The car is totally different now.

Well I'm definitely not trying to spray water in the intake. I've replaced the iacv and the car only wants to idle at full temp
