Weird drivetrain noises

This is my first EVO, first AWD car, first cable trans car. I have a few questions..
1. After a quick pull do you get a sort of whirling noise if you let it sit in gear and coast down?
2. First gear is slightly difficult to engage after being in neutral for a minute or two
3. I'm getting fuel cut after a 1-2 pull, specifically after shifting into 2nd around 6k rpm. CEL says turbo overboost. It's stupid cold outside and when it was around 40*, I was able to row 1-2-3 while hopping on the highway without an issue. Stock tune, mods are LICP, full exhaust, and an intake.
4. The car needs a wheel bearing but doesn't make any noise, where is the best place to buy a wheel bearing and is there a brand I should stay away from? Or a preferred brand I should buy?
5. What are common high mileage EVO issues?
Thank you for your responses, in advance.

The fuel cut is most likely since you are flowing a lot more air with the mods on a stock tune(the verycold air is super dense so it prob triggers it). Get tuned and your fuel cut will go away.

Try adjusting your clutch pedal.. that should allow it to go into gear properly. What clutch is in the car?

Since its cold out it seems/ sounds like you're over boosting. Because of the this youre hitting your fuel cut load value, which is around 240 I think.

Like said above me, a proper tune can take car of this.

Also you can order the hub assembly ( comes with wheel bearing) for under 75$ for the front, individually... This is at Rockauto.com and i have had only good experiences Beck/Arnely remanufactured parts.

Just a tune won't fix the fuel cut, whoever tunes it will need to disable the boost cut in the ROM at the same time. Properly tuned, changes in boost level due to temperature changes won't hurt anything.
