How high were you revving when having issues? I don't go beyond 7,500 RPM.

I have the ACT HD street disc and extreme pressure plate. Over time the decel noise has increased. Im thinking of replacing it with the comp clutch. Just need to figure out which.

Very interested in one of these 2 clutches. When do you expect to receive the unsprung clutches and what will be the prices?

After talking with Dan @ CCI (great customer service!) I've decided on the sprung street disc for my car and will have it in my hands this week

If I ever need to shift at 8k rpm (better) I'll get one of these unsprung Comp HDs (and call up ER to get one because they did the testing )

From my my experience with both clutches the Unsprung I feel is the only choice now.

Neather will feel 100% like stock but I will be willing to bet 90% of the people who drove the sprung and unsprung could not tell the difference except the unsprung shifts even smoother at high RPM which 90% of the people will notice.

Sounds like a nice clutch, especially if it doesn't have the high rpm lockout issues the ACT is known for. I am curious though why people get so bent out about the decel noises or rattling? The Evo is not a quiet and refined car on its best day. Heavily modified I guess I just don't prioritize quiet operation. My car sounds like a tin shed in a storm, but it doesn't bother me at all.

I have felt the Sprung stg 2 get notchey close to 8k. (Does not lock out like a ACT can) This clutch at 8k feels more like a twin then a single disc.

Drag racing I shift my car around 7500rpm at the road course I find my self close to 9k at times depending on the corner.

Just got my unsprung stg 2 and lightweight flywheel. I'm really looking forward to trying it out after this review.

Weather permitting I will be hitting the drag strip in the next 2 weeks with this new clutch. Will have feed back as soon as I can after the track.

If all goes well at the drag strip I'll be ordering from you.

Any idea on what the price will be for the stage 2 unsprung disk kit? Does it come with a new TOB?
