Shifter bushing question

Good weekend EvoM,

I've got a couple of questions in reference to the underhood shifter bushings. I bought the car (evo 9) used back in November and I am slowly going through it and making changes and fixing mistakes from the previous owner. Upon the way I am finding things that I didn't even know the car had installed.

One of those things is underhood shifter bushings. I happened to find them because i was adjusting the clutch due to the tranny feeling notchy. Upon inspection of the bushings it appears that the previous owner didn't re-install the washer when he installed the bushings. I have no idea on what brand they are and all i know is that they are aluminum. Both the lower and upper shifter brackets have been replaced with the aluminum bushings and both of them have play as you see in the video I posted below. Should both of the brackets have the stock washer reused? I don't have a stock bushing setup to view so that I can compare it to.

From the video do you guys think that they just need a washer to go on there to make it tight?

They look fine, and I wouldn't make it tighter, especially that now ur using Al and not the stock rubber.

ps. I actually swapped my stockers tonight for a set of BR AL ones...

So they should have that much slack and play?
Upon further review they actually had washers on there. Took some pics of the bushings. Anyone have any ideas on the brand??

They don't look like they are delrin so not Torque solutions. Looks like CNC'd aluminum, possibly AMS or Buschar?

My Torque Solution, underhood shifter bushings, do not have that much play in them. Personally, I'd buy the delrin ones for 25 bucks off of STM. All of my buddies cars with the hard/ aluminum bushings have this rattle problem.. They just put some super thick moly grease on there along with a washer or two, to get rid of that play.. I would even go as far as finding none metal washers (ie plastic/ delrin), to combat future rattling situations. Particularly, when your decelerating..

Also when you replace the stock bushings, you do not reuse any of the parts when installing aftermarket ones. As far as I can remember...

The br ones come with a collar clip, so these aren't br's. and as far as the play, its axial, so i wouldn't worry too much about it. it would be a concern if the play was due to an oversized hole (in the direction of the movement). either way, if u don't feel comfortable with it, then its an easy $20-30 fix.
